Ӈ , ӈ ( H with a hook ) is the letter of the extended Cyrillic alphabet used in the alphabets of the languages of the peoples of the North: Itelmen , Evenk , Koryak , Nenets , Chukotka , Aleut (Bering dialect) [1] , Enets , Kildin, Saami language and others. It was introduced in 1958 instead of the digraph Ng, which in turn changed the letter of the Latinized alphabet.
