History

Pustynka village is mentioned on the map of the St. Petersburg province of F. F. Schubert in 1834 [2] .

PUSTINKA - the village belongs to Prince Nikita Dondukov-Korsakov, the number of inhabitants according to audit: 44 m. P., 37; p. [3] (1838)

As a Pustynka village, it is marked on the map of Professor S. Kutorgi in 1852 [4] .

PUSTINKA - the village of Prince Dondukov-Korsakov, along a country road, the number of yards - 8, the number of souls - 30 m. [5] (1856)


PUSTINKA is a village owned by the Rudenka River, the number of households is 8, the number of inhabitants is 29 m. P., 38 w. P.; Orthodox chapel [6] . (1862)

In the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, the village administratively belonged to the Vyskatsky volost of the 1st district of the 1st camp of the Gdovsky district of the St. Petersburg province.

According to the Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province of 1905, the village was part of the 1st Gusev Society [7] .

According to the map of the Petrograd and Estland provinces of 1919, the village was called Pustynka [8] .

According to the data of 1933, the Pustynka village was part of the Rudny village council of the Rudnensky district [9] .

As of August 1, 1965, the Pustynka village was part of the Novoselsky Village Council of the Kingisepp District [10] .

According to the data of 1973 and 1990, the Pustynka village was part of the Novoselsky village council [11] [12] .

In 1997, 2 people lived in the village of Pustynka of the Novoselsky volost, in 2002 also 2 people (all Russians) [13] [14] .

In 2007 and 2010, in the village of Pustynka Novoselsky SP , 2 people also lived [15] [16] .

Geography

The village is located in the southern part of the district on the 41K-807 road ( Rudno - Pustynka - Ryzhikovo ), to the north of the 41K-020 road.

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 11 km [15] .

The distance to the nearest railway platform Slantsy is 29 km [10] .

The village is located on the left bank of the river Rudinka .
