Biography
Born May 22, 1881 in Limoges . He studied at the Strasbourg Higher School of Pharmacy and at the Sorbonne , successively received a diploma in pharmacology, a degree in natural sciences and a doctor of natural sciences. Since 1904, he worked as an assistant in cryptogamic organisms at the University of Paris Pharmacy Department.
Since 1913, he taught a course in chemical pharmacy at the Nancy Graduate School of Pharmacy, since 1914 he also taught hydrobiology and microbiology.
In 1919, Sartori was appointed professor of bacteriology and cryptogamy at the University of Strasbourg Graduate School of Pharmacy. In 1936 he became dean of the Higher School.
Since 1947 he was a professor of microbiology and pharmacy in Paris.
He died on December 2, 1950 .
He was engaged in research of microscopic fungi, conducted active correspondence with Georges Benier . Commander of the Legion of Honor .
