Saudi-Turkish relations are bilateral diplomatic relations between Turkey and Saudi Arabia . Countries have mutually beneficial economic relations [1] , but have tension in political issues. Saudi Arabia has an embassy in Ankara and a consulate general in Istanbul . Turkey has an embassy in Riyadh and a consulate general in Jeddah. Both countries are full members of the World Trade Organization ( WTO ) and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation ( OIC ).

According to 2013 surveys , 53% of Turkish residents negatively assess Saudi Arabia [2] .
In 2018, relations between the two countries became even more tense, in connection with the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi [3] .
