Career
Jiri Prskavets became a rowing slalom thanks to his father, who was a prize winner of the World and European Championships in the 1990s, as well as a participant in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta and the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney [1] . The first career successes came in 2010, when Jiri became a bronze medalist at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games in Singapore . After 6 years, at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , he achieved his greatest career success by winning a bronze medal in the kayak single, losing just 0.46 seconds to champion, Briton Joe Clark and 0.29 seconds silver medalist, Slovenian Peter Kauser , who went the distance without a penalty [2] .
