History
In the middle of the XIX century, Argentine troops, conquering Native American lands, reached the Rio Colorado River, hoisted the Argentine flag here and built a fortification. In the 1860s, (Basque of French descent) acquired a plot of land here and began to engage in agriculture. Then other settlers began to settle here, in 1912 the railway was brought here, and in Pedro-Luro railway station was built, which gave rise to the village.
