Biography

Born in Krasnodar. He graduated from the Krasnodar Institute of Food Industry (1952).

  • 1952-1960 shift engineer, head of the preparatory department of the oil shop, head of the technical department - deputy chief engineer of the Labinsky state oil factory No. 5.
  • 1960-1971 deputy director for science, from 1968 - head of the stronghold of the Khabarovsk branch of the All-Russian Research Institute of Fats.
  • 1971–2013 Head of the Department for the Production of Vegetable Oils (1971–1986), Director (1986–1999), Chief Researcher (since 1999), All-Russian Research Institute of Fats.

Doctor of Technical Sciences (1983), Professor (1984), Corresponding Member of RAAS (1993).

He participated in the development of more than 10 new high-performance machines and apparatus for processing vegetable oil-containing raw materials.

Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation (2000). He was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor (1977) and the medal For Valiant Labor. In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin ”(1971).

He has published over 300 scientific works, of which 4 are monographs. Received 223 copyright certificates and patents for inventions, including 19 foreign.
