History
The village of Sergeevka, according to legend, was populated in the second half of the eighteenth century. This was probably the estate of Prince Sergei Menshikov , hence the name of the village [2] .
In 1859, Sergeevka belonged to the Nizhnedevitsky district of the Voronezh province . By 1890, the village was part of the Starooskolsky district of Spasskaya volost, 311 inhabitants.
In 1914, an elementary school was built in the village, at the expense of the Nizhnedevitsky district zemstvo [3] .
In May 1918, a committee of the poor was created in Sergeevka.
Since July 1928, the village of Sergeevka has been in the Znamensky Village Council of the Shatalovsky District . In 1932, there were 489 inhabitants in Sergeevka.
By the end of 1929, the “Competitive” collective farm was formed in the village.
Since January 6, 1954, Sergeevka entered the organized Belgorod region .
In 1997, the village had 63 households and 118 residents [4] .
