Linda was born on June 23, 1979 in the city of Pforzheim ( Baden-Württemberg ) in the family of Georg and Vineta Fröhlich, she has a younger brother, Richard , a former player in the German Bundesliga , and three sisters, Evelyn, Cindy and Agnes. She grew up in the small town of Oldendorf ( Lower Saxony ), and studied in the neighboring town of Stade at the Vincent Lübeck Gymnasium.
