Biography
He graduated from the Faculty of History of Leningrad State University , graduate school at the Leningrad Branch of the Institute of History of the USSR Academy of Sciences (now - St. Petersburg Institute of History of the Russian Academy of Sciences ). Teacher - B.V. Ananich . Doctoral dissertation: “St. Petersburg International Commercial Bank in the second half of the 19th century: European and Russian relations” ( St. Petersburg : Institute of History of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 2004). Associate Professor (2001). He is a leading researcher at St. Petersburg Institute of RAS. Research interests: Russian history , economic history of the XVIII — XX centuries.
