Biography
Born in Sevastopol on February 12, 1938. He graduated from the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography . He worked in the Kaliningrad Drama Theater , Kazan Youth Theater, Tula Academic Drama Theater (1973-1985), Samara Academic Drama Theater , Donetsk Musical Drama Theater .
Since 1988, he worked at the Kursk Drama Theater. Pushkin . The most striking theatrical roles of Govallo are Alexei (Optimistic Tragedy), Ataman Platov (Levsha), Boris Godunov (Boris Godunov), German (Tanya), Ilyas (My Topolek in a Red Headscarf), Kotko (“A soldier was coming from the front”), Leonidik (“My poor Marat”), Litvinov (“Smoke”), Othello (“Othello”), Peter (“The Last”); Tsar Fedor (“Tsar Fedor Ivanovich”) and Cherkun (“Barbarians”). Govallo died of a stroke in the theater on December 1, 2004 during a rehearsal of the play "Man and Gentleman." The actor was buried in Sevastopol. In January 2005, the artists of the Kursk Drama Theater dedicated the memory of Khanuma to the memory of Govallo, all of which went to the installation of a tombstone in Sevastopol for the artist.
