Nikolay Vasilenko Street ( Ukrainian: Mikoli Vasilenka Vulitsa ) is a street in the Solomensky (until 2001 - Zhovtnevy) district of Kiev , passes through the Otradny and Grushki districts. It lies between Cosmonaut Komarov Avenue and Victory Avenue .

Content

History

The street appeared in the middle of the twentieth century under the name Vysokovoltnaya , as there is a power line along the street towards the National Aviation University . Since 1965 - Labor Reserves Street ^[1] , and since 1985 - Vatchenko Street ^[2] , in honor of the Soviet Ukrainian party and statesman Alexei Fedoseevich Vatchenko . The modern name given in honor of the Ukrainian jurist Vasilenko Mykola Prokofievich has existed since 1991 ^[3] .
