TL.37 - artillery tractor used by the Italian army during the Second World War . It was designed and manufactured by the SPA plant (Società Piemontese Automobili), an Italian car manufacturer that was a subsidiary of Fiat .

History
The TL.37 tractor was selected for the Royal Army of Italy in 1938 following the results of a competition between SPA and Breda Meccanica Bresciana for the creation of a light artillery tractor. It was used during the Second World War by all Italian forces and was purchased by Hungary . After the ceasefire in 1943, the tractor continued to be used by German troops . After the war, TL.37 served until 1948 in the ground units of the Italian fleet .
Design
The car was distinguished by the presence of four-wheel steering, so that the turning radius of the SPA TL37 was less than 4.5 m. It could tow artillery guns with calibers of 75 mm and 100 mm at a speed of 40 kilometers per hour on the road, along with the crew and the driver, and also could carry artillery ammunition weighing up to 250 kilograms. The tractor had the ability to climb a 40-degree slope.
An improvised self-propelled gun was also created on the basis of the tractor, on the rear platform of which the Cannone da 75/27 modello 11 gun was installed. TL.37 also served as the basis for the Fiat-SPA AS37 universal truck and two Fiat-SPA S37 armored vehicles (Fiat-SPA Autoprotetto S37) and Fiat-SPA AS43.
