Carlos Adolfo Sosa ( Spanish: Carlos Adolfo "Lucho" Sosa ) ( July 21, 1919 , Buenos Aires - March 2, 2009 , Buenos Aires ) - Argentinean footballer and coach, central midfielder. He devoted most of his career to the Boca Juniors team. Twice South American Champion .

Club career

Carlos Sosa began his football career at the Atlanta (Buenos Aires) club in 1939, but did not stay there for long. He was noticed and he signed a contract with one of the grandees of Argentinean football - Boca Juniors . Carlos played in midfield with Ernesto Lassatti and Natalio Pescia . With Boka, he twice became the champion of Argentina and played 294 matches for the club.

At the end of 1951 he left for France to play for the Paris Racing , and later for the Red Star , where he ended his career in 1958.

International Career

Carlos Sosa entered the field with the national team of Argentina only two times, but managed to win two titles of the Champion of South America ( 1945 , 1946 ).

Coaching career

He began his coaching career in 1960 at his club, Boca Juniors , after spending just a few months at the helm of the team.
