Transport Cameroon is represented by road, rail, air, water (sea, river) and pipeline types of transport links.

Road Transport
The total length of the road network is 34,300 km, including 4,288 km of paved roads, and the remaining 30,012 km are unpaved.
Public transport is more well developed than personal transport. Buses connect most of the country's major cities and are the most popular means of transportation. Each city has at least one bus station.
Rail Transport
In Cameroon, there are 50 locomotives and nearly 1,300 wagons. Among them are Alstom locomotives and railway buses, Bombardier Transportation and Electro-Motive Diesel locomotives and other campaigns.
The only rail operator in the country is the Camrail campaign. Cameroon's railway network is 1104 km long. Most of it was built by the German colonial administration at the beginning of the 20th century .
The railway lines are divided into 4 lines: the Trans-Cameroonian, Western, Hotel Mbalmayo and Mbanga Kumba [1] . All lines are maintained in good condition, but the western line is closed due to the poor condition of the bridge over the Vuri River in Douala, as well as its other sections.
The main railway section used is the Yaounde - N'gaoundere section. Of great economic importance for Cameroon is the line from Douala to Ngaoundere . Main cargoes: oil products, cement, raw cotton and other agricultural products.
Air Transport
According to 1999 data , 50 airports functioned in the country, including 11 with paved runways. Of these 11 airports, two have runways longer than 3047 m, four from 2438 to 3047 m in length, three from 1524 to 2437 m in length, one from 914 to 1523 m in length and one with less than 914 m in length. Of the remaining 39, eight have runways between 1524 and 2437 m long, 20 with a length between 914 and 1523 m and 11 with a length of less than 914 m.
In the country, as of 2015 , 1 airline is registered, which operates 3 aircraft [2] . In 2015, the total passenger turnover on domestic and international flights amounted to 267 thousand people [2] . In 2015, air transport of goods, except for baggage of passengers, was not performed [2] .
There is only one international airport in the country - Yaounde . The airport is located south of Yaounde , not far from Nsimalen . In 2004, the airport served 190,487 passengers. Internal aviation communication is poorly developed [3] .
Shipping
The total length of inland shipping routes is 2090 km. The most important sea port city of the country is Douala .
Pipeline Messages
The total length of gas pipelines in Cameroon, as of 2013, was 53 km; liquefied gas pipelines - 5 km; oil pipelines - 1107 km; water supply systems - 35 km [2] .
