Born on August 25, 1926 in Kudirkos Naomestis .
Member of the CPSU since 1949. In 1944-1946, a fighter of the fighter battalion. In 1948-1951 at the Komsomol work.
Since 1951, the chairman of the collective farm named after Lenin of the Shakiai region of the Lithuanian SSR.
He took the lagging economy and brought it to the forefront. In 1967, his collective farm produced 690 centners of milk and 112 centners of meat per 100 hectares of agricultural land, and grain yields amounted to 27 centners per hectare.
Hero of Socialist Labor (1958).
He was awarded two orders of Lenin, medals of the USSR and the All-Union Agricultural Union .
Member of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR (1970-1974) and the Lithuanian SSR (1955-1991). The delegate of the XXVI Congress of the CPSU (1981).
