History
In 1810, by order of the authorities, a pontoon bridge was built over the creek Arroyo de la Crucesita . At the end of the XIX century, the land in the area of this bridge began to be sold in private hands. After building a textile factory in these places and attracting immigrants from Europe, a settlement grew up here.
