Desso Desideriu Varga ( rum. Dezső Dezideriu Varga ; May 14, 1939 , Miercurea-Ciuc , Kingdom of Romania ) is a Romanian professional hockey player and coach. Player of the Romanian ice hockey team , participant in three Olympic games.

Biography
Born in 1939 in Romania. From 1959 to 1965 he played in the Romanian Hockey League for the Chixereda team, from 1965 to 1977 for the Steaua from Bucharest. He played for the Romanian national team at the world championships in lower divisions and at the Olympic Games. In total, he spent 12 matches at the Olympics, scored 2 goals and gave 6 assists. In 1977, for the first and only time, Varga played in the top division of the World Ice Hockey Championship. In 10 meetings he scored twice and scored twice.
In 1993, he was an assistant to the head coach of the Romanian youth team.
