Biography
Born on October 3, 1949 in the city of Dergachi, Kharkov region.
He graduated from the Kharkov Institute of Radio Electronics with a degree in Automation and Telemechanics (1972) and the Academy of National Economy with a degree in Business Management (1993).
In 1966-1981 worked at the Kharkov Instrument-Making Plant named after T. G. Shevchenko in posts from technician and engineer to production manager.
Since 1981, he worked at the Research Institute of Radio Engineering Measurements (NIIRI): deputy chief engineer, chief engineer, since 1988 director of the institute, since 1997 director and chairman of the board.
Since 1990, candidate, since 2007 doctor of technical sciences, professor (2005).
Laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology (1996). Honored Machine Builder of Ukraine (1995) - for a significant personal contribution to strengthening the scientific, technical and production potential of the rocket and space industry. He was awarded the Order of Merit of the 3rd (2001), 2nd (2005) and 1st (2009) degrees.
