Gagyan, Gagik Simonovich

Gagik Simonovich Gagyan ( Armenian Գագիկ Գագյան , January 21, 1950 , Yerevan ) is an Armenian political and statesman.

  • 1973 - graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Yerevan State University . Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor.
  • 1973 - 1974 - worked as an engineer in the ASTRO Yerevan association.
  • 1974 - 1994 - worked at the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute , first as an engineer in the research department of the institute, then as the head of the group of the educational and computational laboratory, from 1982 - senior lecturer of the machine parts department of the institute, since 1988 - assistant professor of the same department.
  • Since 1994 - Member of the State Commission on Privatization and Denationalization of Armenia.
  • From 1996 , he worked in the expert service on socio-economic issues of the office of the President of Armenia as a chief specialist; since 1999 , he has been head of the privatization department of the Ministry of Privatization of Armenia.
  • 2004 - 2007 - was the Deputy Minister-Head of Staff of the Government of Armenia .
  • April 8, 2007 - elected to parliament. Member of the RPA Council.
  • 2008 - 2013 - was the Deputy Minister-Chief of Staff of the Government of Armenia .
  • The author of 29 scientific papers and inventions.
