Yagotinsky creamery ( Ukrainian: Yagotinsky creamery ) is a food processing company in the city of Yagotin, Yagotinsky district, Kiev region of Ukraine , which is engaged in milk processing, produces packaged milk and dairy products.

History

The Yagotinsky Butter Plant [2] was commissioned in June 1956, becoming one of the largest milk processing enterprises in the region [3] .

In the 1960s, the plant was reconstructed, equipped with new equipment and converted to natural gas , which allowed to increase its processing capacity to 100 tons of milk per day [3] .

In general, in Soviet times, the creamery was one of the largest enterprises in the city [2] [3] [4] [5] .

After the independence of Ukraine, the state enterprise was transformed into an open joint stock company .

In 2006, the plant became part of the Milk Alliance group of companies.

The economic crisis that began in 2008 complicated the situation of the enterprise, which completed 2008 with a profit of 1.3 million hryvnias , but in 2009 the plant completed with a net profit of 9 million hryvnias [1] .

The plant finished 2012 with a net profit of 33.2 million hryvnias, 2013 - with a net profit of 19.3 million hryvnias [6] .

The plant completed the year 2015 with a net profit of 60.745 million hryvnias [7] .

The plant completed the year 2016 with a net profit of 129 million hryvnias [8] .

In 2017, the plant was one of the largest manufacturers and exporters of butter in the country [9] [10] .

Current status

The plant produces 36 dairy products under the brand name "Yagotinsky": milk, butter , sour cream , kefir , thermostatic dairy products ( yogurt , fermented baked milk and yogurt ), as well as soft and sour-milk cheeses .
