Biography
Jaromir Vejvoda was born in the family of a conductor of a brass band. Since childhood, he played the clarinet and violin. He played in the father’s orchestra. In 1929 he wrote The Mondranian Polka, which later became world-famous as the polka of Rosamund (or the polka beer barrel) [2] .
He died on November 13, 1988.
He had three sons, one of them, Joseph , also became a composer. The daughter of Joseph Zuzan is a musical actress.
