MoSiBTiC Alloy

MoSiBTiC alloy is a superalloy based on an alloy of titanium carbide and doped silicon boron molybdenum. Received by Japanese scientists from Tohoku University in 2018.

Physical Properties

MoSiBTiC alloy is able to withstand ultrahigh temperatures without deformation, tests were carried out at temperatures of 1400-1600 Β° C, which is an order of magnitude greater than even other advanced single-chip nickel superalloys. Also, the alloy withstands high pressure, tests were carried out from 100 to 300 MPa.
