Logara (pass)

Logara Pass ( Alb. Qafa e Llogarasë , Greek. Στενό Λογαρά ) is an alpine pass in the Acrokeraun Mountains that connects the Ducat Valley in the north with Himara in the south. The nearest settlements to the pass are the city of Orikum on the northern side of the pass and the village of Dermi in the south. The Logaray Pass is located inside the Logara National Park, which covers an area of 10.1 square kilometers [3] [4] . In November 1912, during the uprising in Himar on Logar, a Greek unit was stationed to protect the Himar region from Ottoman-Albanian attacks by Vlora [5] .
