Born in with. Seredovka Zgurovsky district of Poltava region. He graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk Agricultural Institute (1954).
In 1954-1957, the main agronomist of the Bolsheretsky (after the reorganization - Kamchatka) MTS. Since 1957, a research fellow, in 1961-1971, deputy director for scientific work of the Far Eastern Research Institute of Agriculture.
Since 1971, director of the Research Institute of Agriculture of the Northern Trans-Urals.
Doctor of Agricultural Sciences (1969), Professor (1971), Corresponding Member of the Agricultural Academy of Agricultural Sciences (1972).
He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, “Badge of Honor”, medals “For Labor Valor”, “For Valiant Labor. In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin. "
The author of more than 100 scientific papers, including 36 books and brochures, 5 of them are monographs. Publications:
