History
The Patrol Book for 1615, which is kept in the capital’s archives, mentions “the village of Prokudin in Dolgaya Polyana and the landowner - Streletsky Ivan Mikhailovich Prokudin” [2] .
According to the 1885 census documents of the Stary Oskol district of Dolgopoli volost, the village of Prokudino consisted of 79 households and 528 inhabitants (278 men and 250 women).
Since July 1928, Prokudino - in the Dolgopolsky village council of the Starooskolsky district ; in 1932 there were 604 inhabitants in the village.
In January 1979, there were 262 inhabitants in the village of Prokudino, 173 ten years later. In 1997, 201 residents lived in Prokudino [3] .
