Biography
Born in 1922 in the Mines. Member of the CPSU.
Since 1946 - on economic, social and political work. In 1946 - 1990 :
- at scientific work at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University,
- 1st Deputy Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the RSFSR,
- Chairman of the State Committee of the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR for the Coordination of Research
- Deputy Head of the Ideological Department of the CPSU Central Committee,
- Head of the Department of Aerodynamics of the Moscow Higher Technical School named after N. E. Bauman,
- First Deputy Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the USSR, member of the USSR National Committee on Theoretical and Applied Mechanics.
For the textbook "Aerodynamics" (1980, 3rd edition) he was awarded the USSR State Prize for textbooks in 1982.
He was elected deputy of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR of the 6th convocation.
He died in Moscow in 1990.
