Story
At the beginning of the cartoon, Yuri Koval appears, taking a guitar and starting to sing his song about bats. The cartoon character (Semyon), however, closes the door, so that the performer ceases to be visible. Further, during the cartoon, the song sounds entirely in a different performance.
The mice lived in the basement at Semyon and constantly ate his cheese. Semyon decided to get rid of the mice, but when his neighbor Dementy suggested he get a cat, he refused on the pretext that “cats are just bored”. He promised that he would come up with what to do with the mice when they fell "under the hot hand." When the traps placed near the cheese did not help, Semyon “warmed his hand” by the stove and thought up the following: he took off his boot and cut leather wings out of it, which he glued to the mice. Those flew away. Semyon summed up the situation so that he had a boot before, but now he is gone.
At the end, Yuri Koval appears again in the frame, who says: “Well, brothers, you have composed. There’s nothing I can think of! ”The film ends with the last verse of the song.
