Biography
Vladimir Georgievich was born on July 25, 1905 in Kozlov (Michurinsk) .
From May 1 to October 15, 1922 he worked as a worker on the way of the Tambov station of the Ryazan-Ural Railway.
From 1922 to 1923 he entered and studied at the Saratov Polytechnic, continued to work on the Ryazan-Ural Railway.
In 1923, the Polytechnic was reorganized and Vladimir Georgievich transferred to the Moscow Operational College, where he studied until 1926.
From 1924 to 1928 he worked as a duty officer at the Vepolye station of the Northern Railway.
From 1928 to 1929 he worked as a train dispatcher at the Dirt station of the Southeast Railway.
In 1929, he took the post of deputy head of the Kozlov station of the Southeast Railway and a month later he was appointed head of the Livny station of the Southeast Railway.
From 1930 to 1932 he studied at the Moscow Institute of Railway Engineers.
From 1932 to 1934 he worked as the head of the traffic service of the Southeast Railway in Voronezh.
In 1935 he transferred to the management of the Moscow-Donbass Railway, where he worked as deputy chief and held the position of senior engineer.
From 1939 to 1941 he worked as the head of the management service of the Moscow-Donbass Railway.
May 23, 1941 joined the Communist Party .
From 1941 to 1945, he served as Deputy Head of the Lithuanian Railway and Deputy Commissioner of the NKPS of the North-Western Front, Deputy Head of the Moscow-Donbass Railway in Kashira, and Deputy Head of the South Ural Railway in Chelyabinsk. He led the evacuation of Soviet production beyond the Urals.
From 1945 to 1947 he worked as deputy head of the transport department of the Soviet military administration in Germany .

In 1947 he was appointed deputy head of the Gorky Railway .
From 1948 to 1961 he worked as the head of the Gorky Railway.
In 1952 he was a delegate to the XIX Congress of the CPSU .
February 27, 1955 was elected to the Gorky Regional Council.
Since 1961, retired.
From February 1962 to June 1969 he worked as the chief specialist of the coordination and planning council and senior transport engineer of the Volga-Vyatka economic region.
October 25, 1985 Vladimir Georgievich died. He was buried in the 7th section of the Bugrovsky cemetery in Gorky (Nizhny Novgorod).

Father - George Trofimovich Trunov (02/03/1876 - 05/26/1935). From the Trunov clan, a direct descendant of Titus Onikeev’s son Trunov. George served in Kozlov on the railway.
Mother - Anna Mitrofanovna Trunova (Ulyanova) (02/01/1882 - 11/29/1956). On May 6, 1947, Anna Mitrofanovna was awarded the title Mother Heroine.
Wife - Polina Ivanovna Trunova (Matsneva).
Children: Leo and Galina.
