Stanislav Vladimirovich Borodin ( 1924 - 2005 ) - Soviet and Russian legal scholar, doctor of law, professor, lieutenant-general of militia, judge of the Supreme Court of the RSFSR (1952-1961), head of the All-Union Scientific Research Institute of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs (1975-1979) and the Academy of the Ministry of Interior of the USSR (1979-1983).

Biography
Born September 18, 1924 in the city of Vyatka in the family of an employee.
Since 1943, in the Red Army , he participated in the Great Patriotic War . Since 1944, he is an operational officer of the Smersh GUK bodies. Since 1946, in the judicial system - secretary of the people's court, bailiff. In 1951 he graduated from the Moscow Law Institute as an external student.
From 1952 he was appointed a judge of the Supreme Court of the RSFSR , at the same time from 1956 to 1958 he was a member of the Commission of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR for the rehabilitation of persons convicted of counter-revolutionary crimes, theft of socialist property and official crimes.
Since 1961 - Head of the Department of the Higher School of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs . Simultaneously, from 1963 to 1997, he was a member of the scientific advisory council at the Supreme Court of the RSFSR and the Russian Federation . Since 1965 - Deputy Head, since 1975 - Head of the All-Union Scientific Research Institute of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs (All-Union Scientific Research Institute of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs) [1] [2] . From 1969 to 1997 - simultaneously a member of the Higher Attestation Commission of the USSR and the Russian Federation . Since 1977, at the same time, as an expert, he was a representative from the USSR in the UN Committee on Crime Prevention [3] . Since 1979 - Head of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR and member of the Collegium of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR .
Since 1984 - retired. From 1984 to 2005 - Senior, Leading and Chief Researcher at the Institute of State and Law of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR and the Russian Federation .
