Biography
During the 1939 season, he was sent to Odessa Dynamo by the Dynamo Central Council to strengthen the squad. The debut match in class “A” was played on July 22, 1939 against the Moscow “Locomotive” [1] . He scored his first goal for Odessites in the USSR Cup on July 31, 1939 against the Moscow “Pischevik” [2] , and in the national championship on September 6, 1939 against the Moscow “Torpedo” [3] . In total, in the 1939 season he played 9 matches and scored 2 goals in the major league.
During the years of World War II, he played for the teams of Syzran and Moscow aviation schools. Also in 1944 he played in the championship of Moscow for Spartak .
Since 1945 he played for the Air Force . He spent the first two seasons in the first league , and in the 1947 season he played in the major league, where he played 8 matches and scored one goal. In the last seasons of his football career, he only played for the double.
Also, since the mid-1940s, he played ice hockey . In the first three seasons of the championship of the USSR (1946-1949) was the main player in the Air Force . He made a “double” in the team’s debut match, December 22, 1946 against the Leningrad “House of Officers” (7: 3) [4] . Silver medalist of the USSR championship 1948/49. Before the 1949/50 season, he left the team, but after the main squad crashed in a plane crash , he returned to the squad and played until the end of the season.
In the 1947/48 season, he played one match for the “Moscow national team” in hockey (the USSR national team actually performed under this name) [5] .
The further fate is unknown.
