Buryakovka ( Ukrainian: Buryakivka ) is a deserted village in the Ivankovsky district of the Kiev region , located 50 kilometers from Chernobyl in the Chernobyl exclusion zone . It was part of the Rechitsa Village Council [1] .

History
The village of Buryakovka was first mentioned in literary sources dating from the middle of the 19th century [1] .
Consequences of the Chernobyl accident
As a result of the Chernobyl accident and the contamination of the territory with radionuclides, the residents of Buryakovka were evacuated and relocated to the settlements of Makarovsky district of Kiev region [1] .
In 4 kilometers south of the former settlement, there is a burial ground for radioactive equipment used in the liquidation of the accident - PZRO (radioactive waste disposal site) “Buryakovka” [1] .
