Information about the life and scientific activity of a scientist is limited. He was born in 1549 in Bukhara. The father of Hafiz-i Tanysh Bukhari Mir Muhammad was an approximate of Sheybanid Ubaidullah Khan. In the 50s of the 16th century he left for Kashgar and died there. Hafiz-i Tanysh Bukhari, like his father, Mir Muhammad, was close to the court of the Sheibanid ruler, from 1583 until the end of his life he was the chronicler (Wakianavis) of Abdullah Khan II.
In the introduction, the author describes in detail the plan of his future book, talks about the official accession of Abdullah Khan to the throne, with the mediation of the close khan Kulbab Kukeldash, he was introduced to the court. He writes: “When this insignificant one was thirty-six years old, the idea flashed to write a book that included the history of some events that happened under His Majesty Abdullah Khan.” His work “Sharaf-name-yi shahi” or ( Abdullah-name ) - (“Book of Shah's Glory”) contains rich factual material about the political, cultural life of Central Asia of the 16th century, in particular about the development of literature and science. Hafiz-i Tanysh Bukhari under the pseudonym "Nahli" wrote many verses and even composed a separate sofa.
Hafiz-i Tanysh Bukhari died in 1590.
