Rodniki is a hydrological natural monument of local importance. Located in the Limanskiy district of Donetsk region near the village of Shandrigolovo .

The status of a natural monument was assigned by decisions of the Donetsk Regional Executive Committee No. 310 of June 21, 1972 and No. 15 of January 12, 1972. Area - 0.1 hectares. On the territory of Rodnikov there is a spring water outlet from under the sole of the Cretaceous slope in the Nitrius River Valley.
The chalk deposits in the Nitrius River Valley are about 80 million years old. Tectonic forces formed zones of internal fracturing in them, through which deep water emerges to the surface, gushing in some places. The water from the springs near the village of Shandrigolovo is cold, filtered with chalk to high purity, low salinity. Used for growing trout [1] .
In addition to the springs near the village of Shandrigolovo in the Donetsk region , other springs also received the status of a natural monument: Springs of Kalmius , Konkovo spring , springs in Skotovaya beam .
