Ammar Shabbir Hadiyali ( Swahili Ammaar Shabbir Ghadiyali ; born May 30, 1997 , Dar es Salaam ) is a Tanzanian swimmer , freestyle swimmer . He played for the Tanzania national swimming team in the first half of the 2010s, a participant in three world championships in water sports and the Summer Olympic Games in London .

Biography
Ammar Hadiyali was born May 30, 1997 in the city of Dar es Salaam , Tanzania . He began to engage in swimming at the age of eight; since 2008, he participated in international junior competitions. He attended high school in Richmond Hill , Ontario , Canada , where he participated in the international undergraduate program.
He first made himself known on the international arena at an adult level in the 2011 season, when he entered the main team of the Tanzanian national team and attended the World Aquatics Championships in Shanghai , where he performed freestyle swimming at distances of 50 and 100 meters.
Thanks to a series of successful performances, he was awarded the right to defend the country's honor at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London - he started in the first qualifying race of the men's 100-meter discipline , showed the time 1: 01.07 and failed to get into the next semifinal round of the competition [1] .
After the London Olympics, Hadiyali remained in the main swimming team of Tanzania and continued to take part in major international competitions. So, in 2013, he performed at the world championship in Barcelona , going to the start of the disciplines of 100 and 200 meters freestyle.
In 2014, he performed at the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing and at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow [2] .
He took part in the 2015 World Aquatics Championship in Kazan , competed here in the 100 meter freestyle and 50 meter butterfly competitions.
After graduating from high school, in 2015 he entered Ryerson University , where he studies at the Faculty of Business Administration.
