Luigi Di Laurentiis Prize - Leo of the Future ( Italian Premio “Luigi De Laurentiis” - Leone del futuro) is an award awarded by a separate jury of the Venice Film Festival , consisting of seven film and cultural figures from different countries, including one film producer. Any debut work that participated in the main and independent program of the Venice Film Festival can be nominated for the prize of Luigi Di Laurentis. The monetary part of the award (100,000 USD) is divided between the director and the producer of the film.
