The river is 25 km long [3] . It takes a source from the southern slopes of the Maly Ketepana mountain [4] , flows in the latitudinal direction until it flows into the Khayryuzov river on the right [5] . It has two left tributaries - Krivoy and Lesnoy [4] .

The river is the site of salmon spawning [7] .
