Final
The main competition in women's long jump was held on August 11, 2018 [4] . The current champion Ivan Španović from Serbia did not enter the sector. The reason was the Achilles tendon injury, which she received during the qualification [5] . The final results were very dense: the first and second places were divided by two centimeters, the first and third - five centimeters. After the first two attempts, the leader was Marina Beh , but then Malaya Mihambo from Germany came first. Her third jump was victorious, although in the final round of the competition Bech and the British Shara Proctor were close to surpassing him. At the same time, Mihambo became the winner with the worst result among all European champions after 1974 - 6.75 m.
Two-time Olympic champion in long jump Heike Drexler participated in the organization of the competition. She worked as a volunteer, leveling the sand in the landing pit after the attempts of the participants [6] .
