Text

The author of the words of the song, Sergey Lokshin, noted that he did not predict success for “Crying”, counting more on the song “Dances”. According to him, he plotted the plot of the song in real life: he met a friend who was sobbing crying after a quarrel with a guy, who, however, abruptly stopped 15 minutes later with the words “Okay, I'll think about it tomorrow ...” - and immediately appeared after the meeting first line - “cried and stop”: [2]

“Cried” is a story about the amazing ability of endlessly strong girls and women to cry and seem to “reboot”, to continue to struggle with circumstances that sometimes become more difficult every day. A single young mother or a girl with a broken heart - everyone has this magical process the same way. In the text I tried to fix this state.

- Lyricist Sergey Lokshin

Records

The song broke many Ukrainian records in the field of music. Namely, the composition for the first time topped the Ukrainian YouTube chart and for 12 weeks confidently held the leadership of the Ukrainian YouTube clip chart. Accusations of plagiarism

Criticism was caused by the resemblance to the song "Reborn" by YOYA. Sergey Ranov, the author of the music, explained the similarities by using the same sample from the 2014 The Arabian Trap Man collection, which is freely available and the use of which cannot be considered theft [22] .
