Biography
Born July 16, 1921 in the village of Utorgash , Leningrad Region in a peasant family.
In 1941, after graduating from the Leningrad School of Architecture and Civil Engineering, he entered the Leningrad Institute of Civil Engineering at the Faculty of Fire Defense Engineers. Since 1941, he was drafted into the Red Army and enrolled in the 20th Rifle Division of the NKVD of the USSR .
Since 1942, a senior instructor of the fire department of the city of Baku . In 1947, after graduating from the Baku Industrial Institute with honors, he was appointed senior assistant to the head of the Industrial Department of the Fire Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Ukrainian SSR . Since 1950, a researcher at the Central Scientific Research Institute of Scientific and Applied Mechanics of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR . Since 1956, head of the Department of State Fire Supervision of the Main Fire Department of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs . Since 1960, deputy, and since 1962, head of the faculty of the Higher School of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs .
Since 1965, head of the All-Union Research and Development Institute of Fire Defense of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs . Since 1967, the head of the Main Directorate of Fire Protection of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs [1]
Retired since 1984. He died on December 22, 2011 in Moscow .
Community Work
Since 1984, Vice President of the International Committee for the Prevention and Control of Fire (CTIF). Since 1984, he has also been Chairman, since 2002 Honorary Chairman of the Veteran Organization of the Main Directorate of the State Fire Service , a member of the All-Russian Council of Veterans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Internal Affairs of Russia , a member of the Presidium of the Center for Council of VDPOS . Since 1997, an honorary member of the National Academy of Fire Safety Sciences (NANPB).
