Erythrocebus poliophaeus (lat.) - a species of monkey from the monkey family. The genus of monkey hussars has long been considered monotypic , but then Erythrocebus poliophaeus was isolated. In 2018, reclassification confirmed its independent status. They can be distinguished from the monkey-hussar ( Erythrocebus patas ) by a peculiar mustache [1] [2] [3] .
