Biography and Creativity
He studied at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm ( 1978 - 1984 ). Today he is one of the most performed Swedish composers in the world. His “Motorcycle Concert” ( 1989–1990 ), written for the Swedish virtuoso trombonist Christian Lindberg , is especially famous; his premiere was conducted by Esa-Pekka Salonen .
