Route

The length of the route was 52.5 kilometers. The start was located in Rattenberg . The first 30 kilometers passed along the plain along the valley of the Upper Inn to the lands of Tyrol , which allowed to develop high speeds. Then we went to Fritzens , where we had to overcome the main ascent of the route with a length of 5 kilometers with an average gradient of 7% and maximum to 14%, the vertical ascent was 350 meters. Its peak was located on the plain in Gnadenwald . After that followed a 9-kilometer descent through Absam , Taur and Rum to the Brucke-HΓΆttinger-Ayu area to St. Nicholas, where they crossed the Kettenbrucke bridge. The final stretch ran along Rennweg wide boulevard to the finish line in front of the Hofburg Imperial Palace.
