Members
Participating countries were determined based on the UCI World Ranking rating. The maximum number of riders in a team could not exceed 2 people, provided that one of them participates in a group race . In addition, the current world champion and champions of continental championships could participate outside the quota. In total, 61 participants from 40 countries took part.

Route
The length of the route was 52.5 kilometers. The start was located in Rattenberg . The first 30 kilometers passed along the plain along the valley of the Upper Inn to the lands of Tyrol , which allowed to develop high speeds. Then the distance passed throughout the Innsbruck area in the cities of Kolsas and Ver where the Inn River crossed. Then we went to Fritzens , where we had to overcome the main ascent of the route with a length of 5 kilometers with an average gradient of 7% and maximum to 14%, the vertical ascent was 350 meters. Its peak was located on the plain in Gnadenwald . After that followed a 9-kilometer descent through Absam , Taur and Rum to the Brucke-HΓΆttinger-Ayu area to St. Nicholas, where they crossed the Kettenbrucke bridge. The final stretch ran along Rennweg wide boulevard to the finish line in front of the Hofburg Imperial Palace.
