Street Life is a studio album by the American jazz band The Crusaders . He managed to get to the top positions of the three Billboard charts and was the peak of the group's commercial success. The title track, recorded with Randy Crawford, became a hit in the top-40, taking 36th place and 17th place in soul charts there [3] . The single also managed to take 5th place in the UK Singles Chart , become a hit on disco charts, taking 75th place there [4] and was re-recorded by Doc Severinsen when Crawford re-wrote the song for Burt Reynolds crime drama Team Sharkey . A more powerful version of the song was played at a fast pace in the 1997 Quentin Tarantino film Jackie Brown . The song also sounds in the Grand Theft Auto V video game, on WorldWide FM radio station , in the episode of Bob’s Burgers animated series “ Eggs for Days ”, in the episode of the animated series Ventura Brothers “ The Ventura Brothers and the Curse of Ghost Problems ” and in the episode of the television series Better Call Saul " Enough ride ."
