Content
History
The piston ring plant was created on the basis of auto repair shops in accordance with the sixth five-year plan for the development of the national economy of the USSR . In the future, the production of piston rings for automotive equipment of all automobile plants of the USSR was mastered here [1] .
In Soviet times, the plant was one of the leading enterprises of the city [1] [2] [3] [4] .
In May 1995, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a decision on the privatization of the plant [5] , after which the state enterprise was transformed into an open joint-stock company .
Current status
The company produces cast iron piston rings for car engines ( GAZ-21 , GAZ-24 , Moskvich-412 , GAZ-52 , GAZ-53, MAZ, KamAZ, ZIL, Ural, etc.), tractors , combines, diesel locomotives and aircraft ( An-2 aircraft), as well as for compressor and drilling rigs.
