United States [1] is a mountain range on the island of Ellesmere in the Canadian Arctic . It is part of the Innuit Mountains and the Arctic Cordillera . This is one of the most northern mountains in the world. To the north of them are located only mountains Challenge .

The highest point of the ridge is Mount Eugene (1850 m).
The name was given in 1861 by the American researcher Isaac Israel Hayes in honor of his vessel. Right to the west of the United States Ridge is the British Empire Ridge .
