History
The project, created in the summer of 2010 by Sebastian Besson, was at first a tribute to the memory of a loved one who committed suicide. The Dysylumn group was born from a single record in which elements of progressive metal , black metal and death metal were mixed. At the end of 2010, Camille Olivier Fort-Braque joined the project as a drummer. [1] As Sebastian Besson told Lords of Metal in an interview after Conceptarium (2015) released the album, "the goal was to finish the album ... and finally turn this page of my life. Today it happened, but we will continue the project" [2] .
Musical style
Dysylumn music resembles the sound of such groups as Ulcerate , Gorguts , Dysrhythmia , but is more rough and aggressive. They use Skronk limitedly, now and then spicing them with their trademark progressive death metal [3] .
This is an incredibly heavy, dark and deep fusion of black metal and death metal . [4] Dysylumn proved their ability to masterfully create music that is both hallucinatory and rhythmically powerful [5] .
