During the German occupation, he was the editor-in-chief and publisher of the newspaper "Rogatinskoe Slovo" ( Ukrainian "Rogatinskoe Slovo" ) in the city of Rogatin . So, on November 21, 1941, the newspaper wrote:

“The population of villages on both sides of Zbruch is exclusively Ukrainian, and it must be added, nationally conscious. In cities it is natural - there is a certain percentage of Jews , today it is already undoubtedly reduced, and in Galicia there is still some admixture of Poles . The Jews in the villages were liquidated in one way or another, which took on quite “festive” forms in some villages (for example, they gathered Jews together, told them to carry banners with inscriptions like: “We were your oppressors”, “We are spies , we demand punish us ”, etc.). The external character of villages and cities is purely Ukrainian. Today, Ukrainian and German flags are flying everywhere in villages and cities. ” [one]

He welcomed the creation, and subsequently joined the SS division "Galicia" . With the approach of the Red Army, he moved to Bayreuth , where he taught and published the Horizon, Thunder magazines, and printed the OSS Prayer. Later settled in New Ulm. Here he also continued publishing. In the 1950s, he edited the issue of the Bulletin of the USS Press Apartment .
