Eurovision

On January 30, 2018, Channel One confirmed that Samoilova will represent Russia at this year’s upcoming contest [3] . The song was officially released on March 11, 2018, and on the same day it was announced that Samoilova would perform at the competition with her. The song was first performed by Samoilova live at the pre-party Eurovision 2018 party in Moscow, whose singing was criticized negatively.

Russia took part in the second semi-final on May 10, 2018 . She performed at number 6, between Denmark and Moldova . According to the results of the vote, Russia took only 15th place, which prevented her from reaching the final [4] . The case of absenteeism in the finals was the first ever performance of Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest.

Clip

The clip of the song was released the same day that the song was officially released. The clip itself was subjected to negative criticism from the audience. On the official Eurovision channel on YouTube, the clip has a large number of dislikes.
