Vladimir Aleksandrovich Bublik (born February 1, 1959 ) is a Soviet and Russian legal scholar , specialist in the field of business law , Doctor of Law (2000), professor , honored lawyer of the Russian Federation (2019). Rector of the Ural State Law University since 2007.

Biography
Born on February 1, 1959 in the village of Bunyakovo, Irbeysky District, Krasnoyarsk Territory [1] in a family of workers [2] .
In 1980 he graduated with honors from the Sverdlovsk Law Institute named after R.A. Rudenko (SUE), after which he was appointed by the distribution to the post of assistant district prosecutor in the Kustanai region ( Kazakh USSR ), where he worked for two years. In 1983-1985 he studied in full-time postgraduate studies at the SJI. He defended his thesis on the topic: “Civil-law measures to combat the extraction of unearned income”. In 1985-1991, he was the head of the research unit of the SJU [1] .
Since 1991 - Deputy Director of the Scientific Center at the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation in Moscow.
In 1999, he returned to the Ural State Law University , where he took the position of Deputy Vice-Rector for Research.
In 2000 he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic: "Public and private law in the civil law regulation of foreign economic activity" [1] .
In 2001 he was appointed vice-rector for scientific work of the USLAA , in 2003 he became the first vice-rector of the USLAA . Professor of the Department of Business Law since 2009. In 2007 he was elected to the post of rector of USLA .
Since 2012 - Deputy Chairman of the Council of Rectors of the universities of the Sverdlovsk region .
The author of more than 100 scientific publications. Scientific specialization - business law. Marked by a number of departmental and regional medals and honorary titles [1] .
In 2017, the incident with the participation of Vladimir Alexandrovich Bublik and one of the students of the Ural State Law University was widely publicized in the media. The student Nikolay Yavtushenko was expelled and came to the rector with the intention to consult on the issue of his restoration, however, during the dialogue between them a quarrel arose as a result of which the student was detained by security guards, and subsequently an administrative offense report was drawn up against him. Both sides accused each other of misconduct [3] .
